merry may

Awe isn’t May just the most beautiful, greenest month of the year….I’m so sorry that it’s almost at an end!

The garden has been doing it’s own beautiful thing!

New blooms are appearing all the time.

I could just spend all of my time outside especially in all this lovely weather we have been having.

We had a lovely celebration during the month when our little granddaughter turned one…still hard to believe….we had a fun time partying and Amelie enjoyed every second of it and took it all in!

One of our outings during May was to Garden Show Ireland, such a lovely day out and very inspiring too.

I have just finished a little group of May girls, who I will be listing in my Etsy shop on Sunday 28th May at 7pm (BST).

More information about them can be found here and more photos here.

What a lovely month May has been, I really can’t believe we are heading into the 6th month of the year already!!

Thanks as always for dropping by and for the lovely comments you leave….have a wonderful June! 🙂

so that was march!

So another month has passed and I have to say I’m always sorry to say goodbye to March, I love spring and if I could pause the year I would do so now.

The garden is springing into life and I love it!

We have enjoyed some lovely walks in our local park too.

There has been lots of knitting during the month and we’ve celebrated a birthday and Mothers Day.

We had a little trip to lovely Edinburgh during the month as well.

And when there I got to visit the Edinburgh Yarn Festival, wow that was good, all that gorgeous yarn and talented designers and I may have made a few purchases to feed my yarn addiction!

So March you have been so very lovely and I am sorry you’re over.

Just before I go I’d like to share four more little animals with you that I will be listing in my Etsy shop on Sunday 2nd April at 7.30pm, more images can be found here and more info here.

Thanks as always for dropping by…..happy April!! 🙂

welcome february

February is a month I always welcome, I think you can see the beginnings of spring.

I have been filling my home with bulbs, as you know I do like to hurry spring along.

However the garden is beginning to wake up and it is lovely to see some flowers in bloom again.

As always the little snowdrops are the first to make an appearance.

And I can never resist the primula when they start to appear in the shops.

I have just finished a little group of animals……this is Hattie the hare waiting on the crocuses to bloom (which they have since this photo was taken).

The flower of the month for February is the violet and so I’ve named this little lady Violette.

With a cardie to match the daffodils this is February the fox!

And the final little one this time is Hexie and I’m sure you can guess how she got her name!

All four girls will be listed in my Etsy shop on Wednesday 8th February at 9pm (GMT).

More information about them can be found here and more images here.

Please note they are collectible items only and are not suitable for children under 14 years.

Thanks as always for taking the time to pop by, I do appreciate it.

Enjoy February….the gateway to spring! 🙂
