Sweet Pea Collage

Although we’re not quite at the end of the month yet, we are at the end of another Green Rabbit month, so I thought that today I’d introduce you to the ‘August Girls’.

Inspired by the beautiful sweet peas in my garden which are still gifting me with lots of posies, my first girl is of course Sweet Pea.

Dahlia Collage

I found this lovely fabric when out shopping and it was the inspiration behind Dahlia.

I do have some dahlias in my garden but keeping them going is a constant battle between me and the slugs and their friends, the snails!!

Morello Collage

The second Green Rabbit mouse and third ‘August Girl’ is a big fan of cherries, hence her name…..Morello!

Madeleine Collage

If you live in the UK, you couldn’t have failed to notice, whether you’re a fan or not, that the ‘Great British Bake Off’ is on our screens again.

Madeleine (named after a cake, of course) is a big fan of the the show, just look at her ‘showstopper bake’ button!!

Cornflower Collage

This is Cornflower and once again I have taken inspiration from my garden for this little one.

I have lots of lovely cornflowers in bloom at the moment, I adore that blue and I have to admit that Cornflower is my personal favourite this month!

Milly Collage

The final ‘August Girl’ is another little mouse called Milly.

You may remember Molly my first mouse from last month, well this is her cousin Milly and I’m afraid it must run in the family as like Molly, Milly too is a chocholic!! 😉

So that’s it for another month, quite a mix this month, one dutch bunny, one lop, two mice and two original GRD bunnies, which, by the way, are still my favourites to make.

All of the ‘August Girls’ will be listed in my Etsy shop tomorrow evening, Wednesday 26th August at 10pm (BST).

More details about them can be found here, please remember they are collectible items only and not suitable for children under 14 years.

Thanks so much for dropping by today, enjoy the rest of your week and what’s left of August! 🙂

What a darling group you have made for August! I must comment on the detail you put into the sweaters. I see beading and special stitches and the adorable buttons perfectly selected to finish it off. Too bad you don’t make “big girl” sweaters. lol I would snatch one up in a heartbeat. It feels like Fall here…cool mornings and some leaves are changing color. Looking forward to seeing some Autumn inspired bunnies/mice. xoxo

They’re all so pretty and you are SO good at coming up with names for them. Sweet Pea is my favorite because she looks like the exact kind of real-life bunny I like, I think it’s called a French Lop, with white on the face and black ears. You’re so talented, Vivienne. I hope you are having a good week.
