We have had a variety of weather today, I suppose that’s autumn for you!
This morning it was all very Keats with it’s ‘mists and mellow fruitfulness’.
It actually was very misty and every cobweb ever spun by a spider was on display.
There’s something very pretty about a misty morning but it was a bit chilly for taking photographs!
However as is quite usually the norm after a misty start, the sun came out and the afternoon was beautiful, warm even in the sunshine. I even managed a quick read and a cup of tea outside, in October, brilliant.
I then did a bit of garden tidying assisted as always by my constant companion …
Charlie! 🙂
Gardening finished and washing collected from the line I went inside to get tea started, next thing the sky turned black, the heavens opened and the rain bounced off the road all accompanied by thunder and lightning!!!!
Three different types of weather in the one day!
Well they do say variety is the spice of life but I still think I prefer the sunshine best and I think so does Charlie!
I leave you with a little lady I finished this week, her name surprisingly enough, is Autumn and she’s off to live in France. I wonder if I could sneak into the package with her!
Have a wonderful autumnal weekend everyone, thanks as always for visiting. 🙂

What a beautiful buuny Miss Autumn is! We’ve not yet had a misty morning here yet but I’m looking forward to when they arrive here – I love the tiny droplets strung along spiders webs – one of the beauties of autumn. Hope you get some autumn sunshine in time for the weekend!
Lucky, lucky daughter of mine 🙂 Miss Autumn will help us celebrate this season in style. She will run through the leaves, walk our dog through the vineyards , help us pick wild apples and eat lots of cake and drink cups of hot, sweet tea. Oh yes; I have plans for this little lady.

What a beautiful autumn blog of webs and spiders and leaves, Vivienne! Charlie is so sweet and so nice to have company while you garden, I love when Jack is with me. It’s funny because I think pets love for you to be outside and just around the house hanging out. They always seem content to me : )
Autumn is so cute and soooo well dressed!

How inviting does that cover photo look on the front of Country Living magazine? It makes you just want to curl up on that comfy sofa, in front of the warm fire, with a good book and glass of wine.
Miss Autumn is so pretty. You always seem to find just the right material and button to go with your bunny’s theme. She’ll have a fab time in France, the lucky thing.
The weather is very changeable here, and there’s a nip in the air today. My wristwarmers have seen plenty of action over the past few days.
Wishing you a lovely day, Vivienne.

Almost 4 seasons in one day! It must mean we’re into autumn and strange weather combinations. Another lovely bunny Vivienne and isn’t Charlie a handsome chap! X
I love the way that your lovely autumn colours and pictures go so well with the magazine cover – I think you have a vocation there! And the little rabbit is so sweet, too.
