Hi everyone it is so good to back with you all again! I’ve had a sick laptop this week and in the end it had to go to the computer doctor to be made well again. I’m soooo glad to get it back as I’ve missed visiting you all in blogland. Earlier in the week I did manage to leave some comments on your blogs but then sometimes it wouldn’t let me and the screen would freeze and I couldn’t post on my own blog and it wouldn’t let me deal with my photos, all in all a right pain. Anyhow it’s back with me and thankfully all seems to going ok.
What have I been doing with my time! Well I’ve been doing a bit of gardening, potting up my containers with summer bedding plants.
Enjoying the 2nd issue of Mollie Makes magazine! This such a brilliant magazine, a bit like a blog in magazine form!
Baking Smartie and Pecan Rocky Road. As a vegetarian I don’t eat marshmallows so I substitute them with Smarties. They taste just as good if slightly less ‘rocky’!
Doing a bit of black and white knitting and crochet.
And generally just ‘smelling the roses’!!!
Of course I would have done all these things even if I’d had my laptop with me, I don’t want you thinking I spend all my time on it!!! I was beginning to have withdrawal symptoms though and I’m so happy to have it back again, I really missed blogland.
Before I go I would just like to thank all of you who left lovely comments on my last post. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we all could get together for tea and cake. It would be lovely to see what you all look like and hear all your different accents, it really would be great fun!
Although we would have to check that the picnic table was available for use ……….
Have a great weekend everyone ! š

I wondered where you had got to Vivienne, welcome back and I am glad your computer is now feeling better. As I think you said to me recently, technology is great when it works! Good to see your garden coming along so well and hello to your lovely feline visitor.
See you after my hols, take care.

Yes, that magazine looks fun and I want to get it too. Hope they have it here! Thanks Vivienne for your lovely comment on my recent post. It really helps with my guilt. xoRobinā¤
It’s wonderful to have you “back” Viv, and it seems that we’re so tight-knit “family” here in blogland, that there were many many others also getting “worried” about you! I am so happy to hear you (and the laptop) are alright!
And those flowers…oh, they’re fabulous! And I would love to see that magazine too, looks wonderful! But as too many things: we are not having it here quite yet š I’ll need to surf the net for more information!
Have a wonderful, sunny and warm weekend!
Yours,
Mia
Hi Vivienne, glad to hear you’re fully computerised again……….I love seeing little baskets of lovliness and your is no exception, lots of fabricy and yarny goodies tumbling out…………. I haven’t looked at Mollie Makes yet, must remedy that, the front cover looks very delectable.
Fluffy black pussycat and pristine white roses, what a lovely combination.
Have a lovely, sunny weekend,

I am so envious that you have been able to get Mollie Makes – I couldn’t get the first issue, and was looking unsuccessfully for the second one today! Life is just so unfair! I have had no broadband all week, so I have been out of the loop as well.

Hi Vivienne!
Glad you’re back!
Youve been a busy bee by the looks of things!
Still havent got that mag! Must try again – like the look of those little strawberries on the front.
Love the look of the black and white crochet and knitting – sometimes its good to have a change – ive been doing some crochet in white, cream and grey for a change as i usually work with bright colours.
The rocky road looks delicious! Yes it would so much fun to meet everyone! A huge bloggers party! Or just a few at a time for tea!
have a great weekend!

hi there,
not quite sure how I landed her but have loved reading through your blog
The smartie-subsitute should probably be called cobbled street instead of rocky road!
Happy to pop over for tea and cakes, and also happy to “work around” the table setting
xx
rocky road is making me feel hungry and wanting to make some and that yarn looks just as delicious…
look forward to seeing what you turn it into.

So glad that you and your computer are both well, Vivienne! Broken computers are soooo frustrating! I love the look of your yummy rocky road – wish I had a piece right now. Your knitting looks lovely – and well done on photographing the black yarn so well, I often knit with darker yarns but find them difficult to photograph. Hope you’re having a great weekend!

Hi Vivienne, good to see you back online. Your Rocky Road looks good, what a great idea with the Smarties, I don’t eat marshmallows either. I recently discovered the gelatine free gummy fruits at Holland & Barratt which are nice if you’ve not tried them or if you like jellies which I do.
I’m loving that Mollie Makes magazine too.
It would be fun wouldn’t it to have a bloggers street party!

I love the black and white knitting! Iāve been enjoying the magazine too. And as for the Rocky road, I might just have to make myself some of that.
