Home family Bells

bluebell2

As this is one of the prettiest times of the year to visit ‘my park’ I thought I would take you on a little walk. Everything is so green and as the theme of my post is ‘bells’, it is a good time to show you all the bluebells that are now in full bloom!

Bluebell 1 Collage

I really don’t think my photos do them justice as the sea of blue is just amazing!

Bluebell 2 Collage

The blue and green together is so beautiful.

Invite Collage

Weddings ‘bells’ next and as it’s now less than seven weeks to my daughter’s wedding, the invitations have been sent out. They have been designed by my graphic designer son in the style of a vintage French postcard.

Kitchen Collage

I’m afraid this is a very tenuous link to the ‘bells’ theme but as I promised I would share it, this is how the ‘Bell’s’ kitchen now looks after the revamp!

I don’t have a huge kitchen but much better use of the space has been made and as the decorator has now finished painting it is all now complete, thankfully!!

So it’s the weekend again, can you believe it!!

Thanks as always for visiting me here in my little space, I love it when you stop by and say hello and please know that your comments are much appreciated.

Wishing you all a happy, sunny, springtime weekend! 🙂

The wedding invitations are so lovely, Vivienne as are the bluebells, of course. But your kitchen? It is absolutely fabulous. I can imagine how excited I would be every time I baked a cake in there! 🙂 I don’t suppose I could move in, could I? After the wedding, of course 😉 I’m willing to wait…

Your bluebells are looking beautiful Vivienne…..and guess what is coming up in my post this morning..LOLOL! Snap!! Stuart has designed wonderful wedding invites, how exciting that the big day is getting so near. That shade of blue is one of my favourites. Your revamped kitchen looks gorgeous, so light and airy it really was worth all that disruption. Another weekend again, how quickly they seem to come round. Take care my dear and enjoy it. Jane x

The bluebells look beautiful Vivienne, they seem to be out fully now everywhere don’t they, and are much better seen in person – it’s hard to get the full glory of them by photo.
Love the wedding invites – so pretty! Well done to your son on a brilliant job! I bet your daughter is thrilled.
Your kitchen looks just perfect. So neat and fresh and timeless. I look around my messy kitchen as I type…….!
Thanks for sharing, I hope you have a lovely weekend Vivienne!

Oh I had been hoping for a glimpse of your new kitchen, thanks for sharing, it is beautiful, Vivienne! We have a natural wood kitchen and I often feel there are so many WHITE kitchens right now which are so lovely, but I am glad to see your touch of wood, it’s warm and cozy, I think. And a glimpse of your daughter’s wedding invitations, too, so lovely! And then a little walk into your Irish forest….how delightful! You have spoiled us today with all these peeks into your life! Have a lovely weekend, maybe with a rainbow, too ! xo Karen

Hi Vivienne, I may have said this before but I love bluebells and they seem to come and go so quickly. I haven’t seen a big swathe of them yet, probably because I haven’t been in a wooded area recently, it still seems too rubbishy weather here to go out walking.
Your son has done a great job on the invites, I like that sort of cool, Parisienne chic style he’s captured.
Hey, the kitchen looks fab, how wonderful to work in a new and fresh space, I’m sure it was worth all the upheaval.
Have a super weekend, x

Pretty bluebells….it’s quite breathtaking to see the banks of colour isn’t it?

Your son is very clever, the wedding invite is beautiful, how useful to have brilliant family!

WOW, I love that wedding invitation, it is beautifully designed.
If you look at my blog, I have a header photo of bluebells from a photo that I took three years ago. The bluebells were a bit late that year, and I was so glad since we usually MISS them when we get visit England in May!
I have a photo of myself on the side of my blog surrounded by bluebells, and I am so happy!!

Thanks so much for sharing the bluebell pictures Vivienne. I’ve not been to our bluebell woods this year and I’ve really missed that wonderful blue carpet. The invitations are stunning and such an original idea – what a very talented son you have. I can sense you are counting down the days until the big one – I’m sure everything will come together beautifully for you. Thanks too for sharing the pictures of your beautiful kitchen – that’s my idea of the perfect kitchen – light, bright and very tidy (something mine really is not right now!) Enjoy the rest of the weekend x
