Today is my daughter Lyndsey’s birthday!
She is my youngest and I can’t believe my baby is 23, where did all those years go to!!
Any one who knows her, know that it’s ‘all about the shoes’! 🙂
(Beautiful card from here)
Boy does she love shoes!
Not just shoes though, she loves bags and clothes and jewellery and hair and make-up and nails!!
She’s definitely a girly girl and always has been.
We had a family birthday lunch last Sunday with her cake and we’re going out to an Indian restaurant tonight for dinner.
She also went out with friends last Saturday for her birthday and she’s meeting more friends to celebrate next week. Lyndsey always did make her birthday stretch out for about 2 weeks!! 🙂
Happy Birthday Lyndsey !!! xxx 🙂

Happy Birthday Lyndsey! Tee hee Vivienne, now I know why you wanted one of my shoe cards…..and yes I recognise the Irregular Choice shoes; she obviously has great taste-LOL. Sadly my knees and feet only stretch to the kitten heel styles, they are such fab shoes! I am glad to see she is celebrating in style and of course over a few weeks, why not!
Have fun, Jane x
PS forgot to say, thanks for the link, very kind :0) Jx
Hiep hiep hoera, best wishes for the birthday girl!
Happy Birthday Lyndsey!!
Birthdays in our house last for weeks at a time too … after all it’s the one time of the year that is totally all yours 🙂
Happy Birthday to Lyndsey! It seems that she knows how to enjoy herself! x
Happy Birthday Lyndsey! I love the shoe card (thought I recognised it too!) and the real shoe is amazing! Hope you had a wonderful evening and the birthday celebrations continue as long as possible!

Happy, Happy Birthday Lyndsey! And I am loving the way she can celebrate for many, many days and with many different friends! And what a lovely card – just perfect for her!
Many greetings from Finland (and the bunnies are on their way too, hip hooray!)!
Yours,
Mia
Happy birthday to her! 🙂
Hi Vivienne,
What a joy she must have been for 23 years :0) it is so nice to be so unashamedly girly in today’s world. I love the cake, also that very naughty recipe lower down on your blog!!! I think Bella and me would be walking all week if I made that – it is definitely something for sharing with many others so that I don’t have all those calories to myself! Your spring park looks beautiful, I had just been thinking this morning that I must take photos of Spring before it has up and sprung! I have this idea of making a little seasons book for my little grandson.
Thank you again and again for all your sharing inspirations Vivienne, it is like visiting a special friend dropping in at Green Rabbit :0)
Have a wonderful week/weekend.
love Val xx
Oh I hope your daughter had the loveliest of days! My sister in law is shoe (and handbag) MAD – I am not showing her the photo of that gorgeous shoe! Ruth xx
Sounds as though you’ve all enjoyed the birthday celebrations – quite rightly too! Enjoy the cake, cards and congratulations!
P xx
