Home bags Black & White

Black & White

by greenrabbitdesigns

On my last post I gave you a glimpse of my black and white knitting, well during a very wet Sunday, when there was absolutely no walk on the cards, I managed to get it all finished.
The bag knitted in black has nine little black and white crocheted flowers with button centres.

The lining is black and white gingham fabric and there are two small inside pockets.

Using the same yarns I made also made three corsages with button centres.

I’ve added the bag and corsages to my shop.

Hope your week has got off to a good start and that you’re getting some sunshine, there’s not a lot of it about!!

So cute! I love the nine flowers in a square – very “quiltish”! 🙂

This is such a stylish bag Vivienne, wouldn’t look out of place at Ascot with a big black and white hat. The speed at which you whip these bags up is amazing.
My crochet blanket has really slowed up from doing one square a night, must get back to it soon.
Supposed to be sunny today! Have fun x

You astonish me with the speed in which you can whip these up. I’m loving the Black & White combo, and you’ve chosen just the right lining for another ‘Green Rabbit’ masterpiece.
Luckily the sunshine is out today, but for how long, I’m not sure. Sunday was a total washout and I’d got big plans for the garden too.
Happy Tuesday Vivienne xx

You are so quick Vivienne! The speed I’m going it would have taken me about 6 months to make those! Your colours are great, and I also like your choice of lining, really suits it. The sun is shining here today – have to go to Bath for an appointment – hopefully it is shaping up to be a lovely day for once! xxx

Someone already said it, but elegant, Viv, that’s the right word for this! And I LOVE the matchingly-colored lining and the corsages to. You’re so quick!

And the summer…*sigh* it’s missing here too, it’s rainy-cold-windy. For a week still at least. *add a ugly word here*…Hope it’ll get better for both of us soon. But happy week!!!
