Bunny Progress

by greenrabbitdesigns

I’ve been making some progress with my bunny making this week.

Any of you who check in on my Facebook page will have seen the beginnings of these bunnies on Sunday. I would like to thank all of you who do visit my page, I am trying to use it more although I’ll not pretend that I know completely what I’m doing over there. It’s all this juggling between my page and my business (please note that I use that term very loosely) page. Please assure me that I’m the not only one. I get emails saying that someone new ‘likes’ my page but my follower numbers never change, I think this is because someone has ‘liked’ my page in business mode and that doesn’t register!! Why ??? Even setting it up so that I could comment on other pages as Green Rabbit Designs was complicated enough, although I was quite pleased with myself for managing to do that!! I know some of you who don’t use Facebook will wonder what on earth I’m on about and I’m quite sure there will be many of you who do use Facebook will wonder exactly the same thing!!

Anyhow back to the rabbits, they have all got their little faces now and since the photo they have almost all got their little bodies too. As soon as the face is finished they become little characters and I have named them all but I’ll let you know what they are all called when they are completely finished.

Some new fabric purchases in the photo too, I like to keep them sitting about for a while to enjoy, not sure what I’m going to make with them yet!

Thanks as always for taking the time to visit me here this week and on Facebook too, it is much appreciated!

Wishing you all a lovely weekend! ๐Ÿ™‚

HI Vivienne, I think I”m following the Green Rabbit page on FB which must be the business page, I find it a bit confusing as I don’t use it that much. I certainly see all the new bunny heads! these look so cute, great picture. Hey I’ve got that top fabric on your pile, it’s beautiful quality and really nice to sew with. Hope you have a nice weekend. x

Have enough with blogging so haven’t ventured into FB I am afraid. Love those little bunnies though they do look a little weird with no bodies! Looking forward to seeing them completed and to knowing their names. Have a good weekend.

Dear, lovely Vivienne,

I could just as well have written this post myself: ๐Ÿ™‚ I am in exactly the same position as you facebook-wise; quite chuffed to have finally managed to link my (long dormant) personal page to my new business page. I too have received notification that some kind soul has liked my page but it doesn’t figure on my stats. And I too still don’t really know what I’m doing there. I’m a little excited too.

Like many others I eagerly await the new Green Rabbit Design bunnies and I keep meaning to tell you that the bag I purchased from you has received SO many compliments. I was even stopped in Paris by a lady wanting to admire it!

The new bunny heads look really cute, Vivienne! Well done on your FB pages, I’m sure you will have it all sorted out soon and it will be wonderful for your business. I look forward to seeing those sweet little finished bunnies and hearing their names!
Have a wonderful weekend.

Ditto your FB issues. Kind of have to drag myself over there…but it has become sweeter with friends like you there:)
More importantly, though, are those three adorable bunny faces!!! I hope Charlie never gets it in his beautiful head to go after one of them ๐Ÿ™‚
Have a lovely weekend!

I love the bunny heads! I joined facebook ages ago but can’t remember my password! I really don’t like facebook or twitter come to that even though I am on twitter! I much prefer to blog. We seem to have a nicer audience! x (good luck with it though) x

You’re such a tease, Vivienne. I’m all excited to see them all decked out in their finery now. I’m sure you ‘ve given them wonderful names too.
It’s chucking it down here today, and I may have let Pusskins come into the living room, and he may be fast asleep in my comfy chair by the window! Oh dear – there’s no hope for me now!
Wishing you a lovely weekend.

I’m not a big fan of FB but I went over there to “like you” ๐Ÿ™‚
Love the rabbit production line and can’t wait to see them in their outfits.
Lovely new fabric stash!

Aw how cuuute! ๐Ÿ™‚

Yes facebook doesn’t count business pages as real likes which is why I always like the pages with both my facebook profile and my business account ๐Ÿ™‚

Oh those heads made me smile Vivienne, one looks as though he is in a little nest ;0) Your bunnies are so very cute. I have just got home from my 1 day week at work…I wish it could be that every week! Have a lovely weekend and see you next week,

The bunny faces are so sweet! I am no help on Facebook – blogging is all I do. My children told me that I am too old for Facebook and to leave well alone …

Hello Vivienne…I see 3 very cute bunnies in the making here…they have such adorable little faces and your new fabrics look so pretty.I always like to keep new buys and admire them for a while too!
It’s always lovely to see you on Facebook. I found the whole thing a bit stressful at first (almost deleted my page) but have grown to enjoy it, especially once the layout was changed and I love the day to day chats with crafty friends that makes it so different to blogging. I don’t understand why ‘liking’ as a business page doesn’t count in the number tally….it takes forever to keep swapping back to your profile page doesn’t it?…I think I will always remain just a little confused by it all…lol!
Hope you are having a lovely Sunday,
Susan x

When a person *likes* you it tells you they have been on your site and like what they see., I don’t follow anyone on facebook because each time you make a comment on your page or someone else does, I get a notification. That would be way too much email in my yahoo mail account that I really dont want to see. Hope that helps?

they are absolutely adorable!

Those bunnies are looking cute even without their bodies!

I just don’t have time for Facebook any more. But I’ll look up your page next time I log in ๐Ÿ˜€

thelinencat September 26, 2012 - 8:40 pm

I keep avoiding starting up a FB page for the ‘shop’ side (I have one for me but to be honest I hardly ever log in) as I also struggle with just blogging and trying to tweet occasionally. Sounds complicated, best of luck working it all out. Bethx
