chocolate & fudge

by greenrabbitdesigns

The postman brought me a lovely little package all the way from Germany, Berlin to be precise.

A lovely little parcel of chocolate from my boy… he knows me so well! πŸ˜‰

Just perfect for a little treat with a mug of tea! Do you like my new Cath Kidston mug? Another little treat that I bought myself. I believe I’m deserving all these little treats to console myself at the passing of summer!!!!

Actually it was quite nice weather-wise here today and I managed a little bit of gardening and there still is a little bit of summer happening out there!

I even brought a little bit of summer inside!

I found this little family when tidying up outside today. They’re living in my hanging basket in my porch, I had wondered why there was always so much debris on my doorstep every morning, now I know why, they are very well disguised. Had it been a few weeks ago I would have re-homed them but the plants are nearing an end now anyway so I decided to leave them to it.

Just in case you were wondering what happened to the fudge bit of my post title, well here she is…………………..

Meet Fudge !!! She has a lot less calories than the chocolate does!

Right time for a little more chocolate………..well I have been busy outside today! πŸ˜‰

Thanks for all your visits and comments!

Happy weekend! πŸ™‚

Mmmm chocolate…..I had a single finger of a twirl to satisfy my choc fix today Vivienne. How sweet is Fudge and as you say a lot less calories. Mind you M’s attitude is always, ” If in doubt eat chocolate”, not bad coming from a man is it?! As someone who has a bit of a snake phobia I scrolled quickly past your caterpillars…eek they are too snake like for poor old me.

Yes, summer is indeed passing and I completely understand your need for sweet consolation πŸ™‚ Now, and this is part of life’s wonderful coincidences, we’ve been getting into fudge over the past few weeks; remember my comment to a recent post of yours about Ikea fudge? My children have been badgering me to make some again (I did so on a few occasions last year) but I’ve been thinking about fudge-inspired hares. Your bunny, dear Vivienne, is delicious and most worthy of her name. I think what I like best about your rabbits are their ears πŸ™‚

I too have been chomping on my birthday chocs and lamenting the loss of blooms in the garden. But I have to say that I love autumn, for the smell and the light.Everything has a glow that appeals to me. Have a good weekend!

I’m sitting here with Pusskins, munching on a family sized bag of Maltesers as I type this – seems like we’re all needing a chocolate fix today!
A big hello to Fudge – what a fabulous name for fabulous bunny. xx

Hello Vivienne, Enjoy that yummy chocolate and I’ll have a bit of cocoa brownies!! Very thoughtful of your son. Miss Fudge is wonderful…..her dress is just right for autumn.
PS–You should have your “lucky” package in about 10–12 days.

Hello dear Vivienne,

That’s a great, great mail, I wouldn’t mind getting some myself – that chocolate looks delicious! And I love the CK-mug, just perfect for this season! Fudge is the sweetest girl too, I just love how everything in her match perfectly!

It’s not often I prefer fudge to chocolate but I rather think I might here πŸ™‚

Simone September 20, 2013 - 10:01 pm

Such a thoughtful boy you have! I do like your new mug – very seasonal! Fudge is lovely. Have you thought about making her a ‘chocolate’ companion? I like your little caterpillar family. My french beans are covered in snails now but as the beans are on their way out I am letting the snails have a last supper! Have a lovely weekend. x

Fudge is so pretty with her muted, soft tones. I’d love to know what type of wool you usually crochet with. I knit rather than crochet and often knit small animals and toys and I’m always looking for different wools to try. I love the finished look of your bunnies and your choice of yarn really appeals to me.

Good morning Vivienne….fudge and a Cath Kidston mug of hot tea are such perfect treats (a lovely thoughtful son you have there too!)
Such a sweet name for your latest little bunny lady….she’s gorgeous…I love how she’s looking through the lens at us too!
Happy Weekend and fingers crossed for sunshine!

Love the CK toadstool mug and the pretty pineapple crochet doily underneath.
The sunflower pic is beautiful.
As for fudge well, she looks quite delicious and is, of course, my new favourite πŸ™‚

Love the colour scheme of “Fudge” bunny!

Hi V, it’s Sally, I noticed my above comment has taken the title of a demo blog I’m trying to do for someone on WordPress. It’s all a mess and I can’t get to grips with WordPress and I suppose I didn’t realise it would appear live. Just incase anyone looks and thinks this is bad, it is bad, I might have to use blogger as I’m more used to it. πŸ™

I just love it all, your treats from Berlin (& your sweet thoughtful son!), your little caterpillar family, your Cath Kidston mug – lovely- oh and most of all your adorable bunny! Nice work, Vivienne, one of my favorite of your bunnies so far (although each new one is such a surprise and a lovely treat for your fan’s eyes!) Must be I’m a chocoholic! xo Karen
