Christmas Crafting

by greenrabbitdesigns

There you go, I said it ~ CHRISTMAS !!! A whole two weeks before I usually entertain it!

Truth is, I have spent the past few days crafting for Christmas in all the usual festive colours, so there is no point in pretending it isn’t happening!

It has been all green and red, poinsettia and holly this week.

So there you have it, I have embraced the season. Although it still feels like it was only July a couple of weeks ago!!!!

Once again thanks for ‘visiting’ this week and for all your very kind comments.

Have a fantastic weekend! 🙂

the thing is with Christmas crafting, is that there’s never enough time, so starting sooner is a good plan, especially as it’s only a month away!!

So pleased to hear you have at last embraced it Vivienne! I will join you wholeheartedly, I bought four new xmas decorations today – can’t get to get my tree up, hehe! Love your festive yarns and knitting, hope you have a lovely cosy weekend full of xmas crafting! xxx

Again, there is never enough time for Christmas crafting – no matter how much you plan or try to gett ahead. Time seems to whizz by so quickly and before you know it that day is here again! Looking forward to seeing what the knitting becomes! Have a great weekend! 🙂

I knew you would cave in eventually Vivienne….there are only 37 days left so you are just about right-LOL!! I spy some rather gorgeous Christmas fabric and an even more gorgeous poinsettia and holly leaves you have as WIP. I look forward to seeing the end results. I just L*O*V*E seeing Christmas crafts on everyone’s blogs and yours are so beautiful.
Have a wonderful weekend,

Yes, if we don’t get on with the Christmas crafting now we won’t be ready in time! Loved seeing all your Christmassy things in this post and I look forward to seeing what you make with all that lovely yarn and those shiny beads. I must be feeling Christmassy too because some reindeer ornaments have somehow appeared on my mantlepiece and yesterday my daughter and I shared our first bag of Snowbites this year! Have a lovely weekend, Vivienne.

Yay…..christmas crafting, love all your festive fabrics and colourful yarns, it’s always much easier to go with it rather than fight it, christmas is just around the corner and I know that I always enjoy it so much more when I’m prepared…………I just prepared lots of veg today and popped it all in the freezer for the big day, then remembered that my daughter is doing the honours this year at her house, this will be the first christmas dinner she has cooked…………exciting stuff.

Enjoy your weekend Vivienne. x

Hi Vivienne
I must admit I’m still feeling a bit bah humbug although I should be in the thick of Christmas crafting seeing as I’m doing a craft fair in 2 weeks. I’ve done a few bits which I’ll put on my blog.
Hey I like the look of your stuff and is that a Christmas bag I see being knitted, look forward to the finished article.
Have a nice weekends x

I’m another one who’s furiously beavering away for Christmas. There are a lot of organised people buying presents out there – not in our house though!!

I’ve been in the Christmas zone since August! A couple of years running I illustrated some Christmas books, and was playing Christmas carols in July to get me in the Christmas mood! Marvellous isn’t it! Vanessa xxx

Hmmm. Not too sure about all this – you’ve got me worried that it’s later than I think and I need to catch up! Is it too late to start making a throw as a present for someone? Probably.
Enjoy your weekend.

Your lovely post has me feeling all festive Vivienne.
Better to start your Christmas crafting now than a last minute panic.
It looks as though you have another lovely bag in the making 🙂

The Christmas basket of goodies looks wonderful and I love the cream fabric with holly on! Beautiful beads, woolly things and festive fabric! x

I´d love to do some christmas related crafting, not sure I´ll have time for that though. I´ll enjoy yours instead! 🙂

I read this post the other day and thought “She’s right! Embrace it” So I have. I am in full time Christmas preparation.

Your Christmas crafty stuff looks gorgeous. I’m knitting a camel coloured scarf for Mr C so I’m lacking in festive colour right now so your photo’s are a treat.
