Home high days & holidays christmassy

by greenrabbitdesigns

We have become very Christmassy here at GRD HQ !!!

With my new craft room this year I’ve had another room to decorate, just a little bit anyway, I’ve put a little white tree in there and I found a little deer to hang on my dresser door.

The rest of the house is looking quite festive too, presents have been wrapped (well some anyway, some still have to be bought yet!!), cards written and there has been a little bit of baking too!

It’s a busy time but I’ve still been making some time for bunny-ing!

I still haven’t managed to get a full length photo of my big tree, aren’t Christmas trees a nightmare to photograph, they never look look as good in a photo as they do in real life, or maybe that’s just my photography….I’ll keep trying though!

Have a lovely festive week, it’s normally a busy one but remember to take some me-time! 🙂

Ha! My craft room is where everything else in the house that I want out of the way over Christmas gets dumped! A I agree about photographing trees but your details look lovely.

Well,it’s all looking very Christmassy in your home Vivienne, lots of lovely decs! Love that sweet wooden bunny! Like Gina above, my sewing room is getting a bit too much non-sewing stuff in it at the moment, and certainly not a tree!
Mince pies and cake look yummy, hope you enjoy all the rest of the preparations, and that you have a wonderful Christmas Vivienne, if I don’t “see” you before then!!!

Hi Vivienne, it’s all looking very lovely at your place, I love that little deer. I know what you mean about Christmas trees, somehow the magic of how they twinkle in your room isn’t captured on a photo. Hey the mince pies and cake look yummy. Have a good week xx

I’m so envious of your pretty little craft room Vivienne. One day, I shall claim a bedroom for my own. I will, I will……
I love seeing how other people decorate their trees. I’ve got friends who have to stick to a theme, or colour. I’m more of a ‘everything goes’ sort of girl.Lots of colour, lots of tinsel, lots of lights, the more the merrier. I’ll try and take a photo of my tree , but like you say, they never look the same as in real life.
Me time???? what’s that???!!!!
I’m off to take Violet to see Santa after school tonight – it’s a surprise. I wonder what she’ll ask him for.
Wishing you a wonderful Tuesday.

Your white tree looks beautiful! I try to take pictures of my tree and it never looks anything like it does in real life but it’s so lovely enjoying everyone else’s on their blogs who do actually manage to take fantastic photos! That close up of your baking is making me very hungry, it looks delicious! 😉
