Oh I know what you’re all thinking, here she goes again with more cosmos!
It’s just these flowers have been so brilliant all summer and actually still are!
This what my garden looks like at the moment, still so many of them in bloom.
The high winds of late have broken a few of the tall stems, so I’ve now got a lovely little posy for my kitchen window.
Apparently cosmos is native to Mexico, makes you wonder how it does so well here!!!
This one however will have no problem with the elements!
I crocheted it in a creamy white cotton and I just love the yellow button for the centre.
I’m going to pop it into my shop.
So there you go, as September quickly disappears, this is my last salute to what was the summer of 2011!
Happy Tuesday everyone. 🙂

They have been wonderful in my garden this summer too and all the more appreciated since the seeds were given to me by another blogger! I have pink ones as well as white and they make a lovely splash by the driveway. Love the little crochet one and especailly the yellow button centre.
I love yellow and whilte together; childhood memories of eggs and daisies…
Thank you for making me smile.
Hi Viv,
I love cosmos and yours are beautiful. I love the old fashion flowers the best and they reseed. I can’t believe how great you are at crocheting all the flowers and berries, they all look so real. The cosmo is amazing and the button is perfect! I just caught up on your past post and Barcelona is fabulous thanks for sharing all those wonderful photos. Have a great day, xoRobin❤
Beautiful cosmos and a beautiful corsage you made there Vivienne. I too love the combination of whites/creams/yellow…so relaxing and peaceful. The gardens are really just finishing aren’t they. I loved the cosmos fabric tucked in there too, you have such an eye for great detail. I hope you are getting some of this Indian Summer…it is blue skies and sunshine here today and I’m lapping up every last minute of it. For a change it is on one of my days off! Have a great day,

White Cosmos are my favourites, and that little crochet one is adorable!
That is one pretty post, Viv!
The Cosmos are beautiful, I really like simple white&yellow-combo. And your crocheted flower is just brilliant, the beautiful yellow button is absolutely perfect there!
Have a sunny Thursday (and weekend soon too!)!

Parece de verdad¡¡ Te ha quedado muy bonita.
Un saludo.
Summer has come back here with a vengeance – it’s far too hot! But the remains of my cosmos are looking a bit tired – you have obviously been looking after yours rather well.
