A bit of a reveal for you today, unfortunately the light wasn’t wonderful but I hope this gives you some idea of what my new craft room looks like. It isn’t a very big room but I think we have made the most of the space available thanks to good old Ikea. I have kept everything white for brightness with little hints of turquoise, teal and duck egg for a little bit of colour.
My little dresser is my favourite bit, I love being able to display all my crafty purchases and its a great place for storing all my fabric too.
If I don’t want to sit at my desk I have a little corner for sitting in to read my craft books, listen to music or watch TV, (I have a television in there too)!
I have lots of storage space for my yarns, buttons, beads and ribbons and numerous other crafty bits and pieces and I love the fact that my sewing machine can sit out permanently. Hopefully now, I’ll use it more!
I am delighted with my new room, just need to be more productive now!
I’m going to leave you with my lilac and white freesias, they are the same flowers that I had in my wedding bouquet along with white carnations and purple heather ….. 32 years ago yesterday!!
Happy weekend, thanks as always for visiting and for all your lovely comments! ๐

Beautiful craft room I wish mine were as neat! Belated Happy Anniversary from Maine.
Hello dear Vivienne,
What a lovely room you have created! And I think you just can’t go wrong with white + some pretty colors added! Your room looks so inviting, you’ll be so happy bunnying there! And TV is an essential, definitely ๐
Happy a-day-belated anniversary, and lovely, sunny weekend too!
Yours,

Belated Wedding Anniversary wishes! I had freesias in my wedding bouquet too! I love your craft room Vivienne. Can I move in? When I get over this rotten cold I am going to tackle my craft space too. x

I mean 32nd, obviously
Happy Anniversary!! I wish my craft space was as tidy as yours, maybe then I would feel more productive. When look at the pictures I can picture all the lovely little bunnies that will be knitted there.
It’s a beautiful room Vivienne, so calm and peaceful and pretty. I think I could easily spend a few days just sitting looking at it. Enjoy your weekend x
Lovely ๐
Lovely workroom and flower pictures Vivienne. Just catching up on posts as we are away travelling so I have missed lots of posts. Our wedding anniversary was also on 12 th September, but a lot more years…. 43. Xxx

Ahh, at last I find a little moment to come and visit your craft room! Yay! Ikea always saves the day, doesn’t it? We’ve been a few times this past month for ‘essentials’ and, dare I add, their fudge is delicious!
Happy, happy anniversary to you and your husband, Vivienne! Your flowers are beautiful…almost as much so as your neatly arranged (how do you do it?) piles of fabrics! It really is lovely to take a peek into the world where your sweet rabbits are created. And speaking of rabbits… I spy with my little eye a very familiar one ๐
It’s looking lovely Vivienne, and if you’re anything like me you’ll find it really does mean that you’re more productive. My little space was furnished courtesy of IKEA too and I am using it a lot. Enjoy m’dear.
And happy anniversary to you both ๐
What a pretty working space you have Vivienne! I have fabric envy ๐ Such pretty colours!
Happy Sunday!

Your craftroom looks lovely Vivienne!…Ikea must do very well from us all too, don’t you think?…On my last visit they had set up a little craftroom with all kinds of useful storage so they’ve clearly noticed! It’s great to have your own space and you’ll definitely appreciate having somewhere permanent for your sewing machine too….
Hope you had a wonderful wedding anniversary!
Happy Sunday,

P.S Beautiful flowers!
What a relaxing place to work. It looks lovely. Mine is a cluttered mess!
A very Happy belated Anniversary greeting to you and Mr. B!! Lovely flowers with a special meaning……I am having fun looking at your new craft room, Vivienne. Very inspiring shelves with your supplies and special bunnies.
Thanks for giving us a tour—See you soon in blogland.

Happy Anniversary – and what a lovely room you have made! I am continually trying to chisel out space to work in. I’m not being terribly successful!
Yay!!! it’s all finished and looking lovely, bright and airy. I suppose I’ll have to wait until Violet’s grown up and flown the nest before I’ll be able to get my own – I’ll just have keep dreaming of my perfect craft room in the meantime.
Hope you and your husband spent a wonderful anniversary together.xx
Hi Vivienne, thanks for sharing your craft room, I always like having a nosey at other people’s creative spaces. I could happily craft in their, looks calm and peaceful, white will be my chosen wall colour when I eventually get my own craft room, it’s very practical and light is so important. I love all your neat fat quarters, it’s brilliant and a tv too, almost self contained, I guess you just emerge for food and drink!! Enjoy your new space x
A fabulous craft room, so neat and tidy! My trouble is I have so many hobbies and all the bits, tools and storage for each of them! I’m sure you’ll be even more productive as you’ll never want to come out! I also want to let you know that ‘Mariner’ is very happy and well cared for. Gill X
Happy Anniversary!! I love how neat and tidy your craft room looks (I spotted and bunny and birdie I recognise as well, it did make me smile), I share my space with the boys and Charlie doesn’t know how to stick to his half so I have to keep moving playmobil – ha ha. I hope you have many, many happy crafting hours in your new den. Bx
