Daph & Dilly

by greenrabbitdesigns

The daffodils are coming out all over the garden and I’m now remembering where I planted all those bulbs last autumn! They’re certainly looking a lot happier than when I last photographed them in the rain.

Of course I couldn’t let the daffodil season pass without making some daffodil girls!

I’d like to you all to meet my new springtime girls, their real names are Daphne and Dilys but they like to be know as Daph and Dilly.

They are all dressed up in yellow and green and their little skirts are covered in their favourite flowers.

Dry and sunny here today but still very chilly, at least when you’re inside looking out it does look like spring out there!

Happy Tuesday everyone! 🙂

Hello VIvienne, These newest bunnies made a cold, grey morning much better. They would be so adorable sticking out of an Easter basket!! Thanks for sharing. (we all need some warmer weather)

You’re churning these lovely bunnies out like a crochet machine, Vivienne. It’s lovely to meet Daph and Dilly – another couple of pretty ladies to brighten these cold Spring days :0) x

***squeal*** daffodil dresses on bunnies…what cuties Vivienne. They look gorgeous and the names are perfect. We need this touch of spring today as despite the sunshine here it is freeeeezing cold. Keep warm and carry on crocheting.

What a cheerful post, so full of springtime – I wish you could send some of the spring sunshine up here – we had around four inches of snow yesterday.

Gina March 12, 2013 - 5:07 pm

Beautiful bunnies of course, but I’m completely taken with their names.

I love this time of year when the flowers are just beginning to peek out. I’ve been following along with the bunny family and my goodness – how it has grown. Daph and Dilly are a lovely addition. Your bunnies are all so happy making.

Ah, bless them they are so sweet. My parents used to call daffodils daff-a-down-dillies when I was young. I don’t think they do now though!!
Hope you’re getting lots of sunshine Vivienne x

knitsofacto March 14, 2013 - 11:25 am

Just too cute! And I love the names.

How many bunnies have you made now Vivienne? Yours seem to be multiplying almost as fast as the furry kind! 😉

Simone March 14, 2013 - 3:08 pm

I love them both so much! Such lovely springtime colours. I agree with knitsofacto – your bunnies are breeding like bunnies!!! x

Patty March 14, 2013 - 4:36 pm

Yes it’s nice to be inside feeling a bit of warmth from the sun. Have a good week V x

Daph and Dilly are as lovely as all your bunnies and made me feel happy and sunny on an otherwise quite miserable (weather wise, I should add, the day itself has been quite fine) day. I am longing for some sunshine now. Bethx
