Home bags Forget-Me-Nots

by greenrabbitdesigns

These pretty little forget-me-nots are out in bloom all over my garden and in both my next door neighbours’s gardens too!
They do like to spread themselves about a bit!

They are such a sweet little flower and such a beautiful shade of blue or purple, I never can decide which it is.

As quite often happens I get inspired by flowers and I’ve made a little bag using these lovely forget-me-not colours.

I crocheted some little flowers in a bluey-purple shade and used a nice mossy green for the leaves.

The lining is a floral pattern in toning colours.

I sewed small yellow beads in the centres of the flowers to echo the real flowers.

Well as I said in a previous post April equals Easter and Easter equals bunnies! So this little bun and I wish you all a wonderful weekend and thanks as always for ‘visiting’! 🙂

I love forget-me-nots, they are such a lovely old fashioned flower. I must get some for my garden, I know once you have them they get everywhere, but that would suit me! Have a lovely weekend, I hope the sun is shining for you, as it is here in Devon at the moment! x

I love forget me nots too. My Mum used to have a lot of them when I was young and they would always have Ladybirds on them.
Your bag is so pretty, such a lovely colour.

Your little bag is very pretty, you get some great inspiration from your garden for them. I hope you enjoy a sunny weekend, I may even get to cut the lawn!

Stunning forget-me-knots reminds me of a small watercolour painting of a forget-me-knot I had hanging in my childhood room. I wonder what happened to it?

Love, love , love the bag it’s very pretty and cheery and the little bunny is cute as. X Leah

I love the way they spread themselves around – all that lovely blue everywhere, especially when they’re next to the wild violets too.
Beautiful bag Vivienne!

I love your forget me not pictures and beautiful bag! They are such perfect, sweet little flowers, and I know what you mean about the colour – blue or mauve? I often used to paint forget me nots for greeting card designs (I love the little curving stems of buds they have) and when I was mixing the paint they seemed to be so many different shades of blue. Have a lovely week.
