Home knitting & crochet Françoise

by greenrabbitdesigns

This little girl was crocheted while I was on holiday and I have just put the finishing touches to her. As she was ‘Made in France’ I have named her Françoise. She is pictured here among rather wet lavender in my front garden and not, sadly, in a lavender field in Provence!!

Being a little French girl she just loves the scent of lavender and the sound of crickets.

She proudly wears a ribbon in her ear which is the colours of the French flag and she is dressed in red, white and blue.

Françoise and I both hope this non-stop rain will go away and we would like to wish you all a lovely weekend with lots of sunshine!
Come on summer where are you??

Oh Vivienne Francoise is adorable!
I love her little sweater and the French flag ribbon bow.
I’m loving that first picture of her among the lavender in your garden 🙂
Looking forward to seeing your next bunny!

She’s great. I thought perhaps she was a Jubilee bunny till I read the text. Hope she will be happy this side of La Manche!

Bonjour Francoise!

As usual Vivienne your newest little bunny is so sweet.

Oh this rain…it never stops…it has been the same in Cheshire too, lets hope the weekend is drier….not sure it will be though!

Awwwwhh Vivienne she is just such a cutie. I love your bunnies and it’s great that she was “Made in France”. I am SO fed up with this weather. It has been gale force winds here and the heating is on again. At least it’s the weekend, enjoy it my friend and fingers crossed for a little sunshine.

Bonjour mon ami. Françoise est beau. (That’s enough of awful French).

I’m desperate to get out in to our garden, but the rain hasn’t let up for nearly a week. I’ll be needing a combine harvester to cut the grass, it’s sooo long! It’s all looking very neglected and sorry for itself.
Wishing you a wonderful weekend xx

francois is adorable! and if it weren’t that this was a very expensive month for me ( with no less thean five important birthdays and an imminent birth) i would snap her up. i am determined to treat myself to one of your bunnies one day.
i don’t blame you at all for missing the beautiful riviera after coming back to all these gales. we lost our water supply today (first thing this morning), not sure when it will return. time to picking up the knittiing sticks me thinks.

hope the weekend gets brighter for both of us as it goes along.

lots of love xx

Bonjour Vivienne et Françoise! Que tu es jolie ma petite lapine 😉

Ahh, she’s a stunner, dear Vivienne.

Pam Hetherington June 9, 2012 - 10:29 am

She’s just stunning! Hope there’s some sun where you are this weekend – there certainly isn’t any here just now. May have to just get outside anyway though for some fresh air. Shame it’s not in the South of France amongst those gorgeous lavender fields? xx

Oh my gosh! She is adorable. I actually have outfit envy. I would totally wear her cloths if they were big enough!!

Hello Vivienne and hello to lovely little Francoise too! She is a sweet little bunny and I love the idea of her being made when you were in France and on a French theme, making her more personal and special to you. She is so beautifully dressed as well….I think she might be my favourite so far!
Have a wonderful weekend.

I love this one Vivienne, she is so sweet and beautifully dressed. I hope the rain stops it’s making me feel quite miserable and lethargic. Hope you have a good weekend. x

Francoise is tres chic Vivenne! So sweet!
I wish this rain would go away too – its too depressing this time of year when it should be warm and sunny.

Here’s hoping Francoise will bring a little South of France sunshine our way!

Francoise is adorable!
I just have to tell you that I have been spotting large rabbits on my walks recently and I always think of you 🙂 They always seem to be at a certain spot in the path and then hop into the field when they see me coming!
We’re having rain today here too – fingers crossed for sunshine for us all! xo K.

Francoise is delightful Vivienne, I love her little outfit………it’s so cold and damp here today, I’ve actually pulled all my winter woollies back out of storage.

Aww Vivienne, I love her little cardi and her patriotic ribbon. I hope that the summer arrives soon and she can take off her cardi for a spot of sunbathing – you’re right summer seems rather absent this year!

jooles June 12, 2012 - 8:11 pm

Still raining here Vivienne!

She is just lovely. Wonder how a French bunny would sound?!

We are non-stop rain around here too …it’s getting a little depressing.

thelinencat June 15, 2012 - 5:18 pm

She’s really adorable. I’m not generally one for pastel or pale colours so I love her red, white & blue outfit, and the ribbon in the ‘hair’ is the perfect finish. Very cute. Bethx
