This is Freya, named after the Viking Goddess of Love, which seemed appropriate for a Valentine girl!

Such a pretty name, Freya, don’t you think?

DSCN8722

With her purpley (not a word, I know) shades she is slightly different to the usual pink/red Valentine colours but I think I like her all the more for that.

She is already on her way to her new home!

Sorry about the over-the-top image but I was messing about on my iPad making an image for my Facebook page and I thought I would use it here too! May as well get maximum use out of it. 😉

So here we are into the second month of the year and the second month of pre-spring, I do like February, I think it’s a month with so much potential.

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend, thanks as always for your visits and comments, all so much appreciated.

Happy weekend! 🙂

Freya is the perfect name for her. So glad she already found her forever home ♥ Tomorrow is groundhog day and we are all crossing our fingers for an early spring prediction.

I don’t know how you do it Vivienne. How do you manage to find THE perfect button to go with fabric?
Freya is delightful and I love the collage.
By the way thanks for my new addiction – the iced and coconut sprinkled cake.
We are already on our second one! Oh dear……..

Hello Vivienne,

Freya is the sweetest in all her purpley 🙂 and hearts, just perfect Valentine-girl! And you’re so so right with February having potential, so true! I love the change, I really do not do January at all 🙂

Have a lovely weekend, and happy hooking (I am sure there’s an another bunny in coming?)!

Yours,
Mia

P.S. I tried to send a comment just a while ago but it went…where? So if my messages keep popping up later – I apologize!

Such a pretty little Miss with a pretty little name! Everything matches perfectly as usual, down to the heart shaped buttons!
Hope you have some sunshine this weekend Vivienne, now that we’re well and truly into Pre-Spring – I know this is so as we have catkins on the trees in the lane!

Freya is beautiful and yes, strangely enough February is my favourite month in some ways! As you said; everything is to come. I love the fact that Freya has almost a carnival feel to her with all her merry colours. Lovely 🙂
