Greenhouse Days

by greenrabbitdesigns

Greenhouse days are back again I am so happy to say!!! 🙂

My husband washed it all out for me last week and very kindly cleaned all the glass. So I have been busy tidying it up and sorting through all my seeds.

I decided today to get my tomato seeds planted. I planted just the two varieties, Gardener’s Delight and Moneymaker, they both have always grown well for me and are both delicious tomatoes.

So that’s my seed planting started, I’ve got lots more vegetable and flower seeds to get in over the next few weeks but it does feel good to have made a start.

I do however have some little flowers already in bloom!

They belong to this newly finished bag.

It’s floral on the inside too!!
It’s now in my shop.

The weather has got a bit chilly again but it’s still bright and sunny and when the sun shines it’s always cosy in the greenhouse.
Here’s to many more greenhouse days!

Have a lovely new week everyone. 🙂

How exciting to get growing again Vivienne. Luckily my Dad has a greenhouse so he is able to start off the seeds which I then get as seedlings to harden off. I would love a greenhouse but it was that or a studio and you know which won! We grow Gardener’s Delight too as the flavour in my books is pretty unbeatable and they are so prolific too. Your new bag looks wonderful and the blooms are so pretty. Enjoy your greenhouse days…spring is just around the corner although I agree it has turned chilly again today. Enjoy your evening,
Jane x

Oh I need a husband that’ll clean my greenhouse – ha ha! I’ve put my tomato seeds in as well, exciting isn’t it getting new things in to grow, feels like Spring is really here, although like with you it’s turned colder here and the wind keeps blowing my cloches off the vegetable beds. Bethx

I need someone to clean my greenhouse too! That is after I take all the garden storage out of it! Your greenhouse looks so organised. I think that you have inspired me to clean my greenhouse out tomorrow so thanks Viv! The flowers and the pretty bag are very springlike and I like the delicate colour of the flower petals. x

What a tidy greenhouse, and what a hero your husband is .. I expect there were quite a lot of ‘over-winterers’ in there!
Beautiful bag, Vivienne and those little blooms are very cute indeed.

Love the printed fabric centres to those flowers. They look lovely on the bag. I’m very impressed by the bunting in your greenhouse too. The world needs more bunting!

Hola Vivienne. Que bolso y que flores tan bonitas haces. Mi padre plantará pronto los tomates en el huerto que le ha tocado en el barrio, el año pasado salieron muy buenos.
Besos¡¡¡
Susana.

It’s such a great start to Spring – sunshine, seeds, and being outside! The bag looks beautiful – but one that arrived in the post for me is very special and I love it! Thank you so much Vivienne xx

That bag is gorgeous Vivienne! I love planting my seeds…. it’s when they all come up and need sorting out I’m not so keen.

Looks like summer (to me), Vivienne, with that light and a green tree on background! I LOVE it! Greenhouse is not my thing to use (you know my lack of that gene), but they just stand for spring—>summer—>happiness to me, and I cannot wait to see those things to grow. And one more thing: You got some husband!

Here’s to March!

Yours,
Mia

Oh your greenhouse looks so lovely!! Did I spy a little bunting and some bunnies in there? Can’t wait to see all your spring flowers and amazing plants.

Like the rest, I should have had a green house day today while the sun was out, but the computer won the little bit of time I had. Now it is raining and looks like it’s here for tomorrow! Ooops!! Love your latest bag with the flowers. have a good week too.

Lovely, a nice clean and tidy greenhouse, I bet it feels great to have something started in there. Lots of bloggy friends are digging their seeds out at the moment.
The crochet flowers are so pretty.
Turned wet & very windy here, hope it’s better there,

Lovely to hear you’ve been in the greenhouse and planting seeds already! It turned a bit colder here at the weekend which spoilt my own gardening plans, but is set to warm up again for us next weekend! Your crochet flowers look lovely on the new little bag, and the button centres are really sweet.
Have a happy day!

Hi Vivienne, You will be a very happy bunny I am sure, your green fingers will be itching to get back in there :0) watching things grow, and more so if you can eat them, is such a satisfying and rewarding fruitful time …. what could be better ….. unless it’s to be hooking flowers!
Enjoy your days, from Bella and me xx

That’s a very beautiful bag Vivienne and I love the crochet flowers with the covered fabric button centres.

You have given me the impetus to get thinking about outside and I think I will go and get my seeds this weekend….sometimes you need a nudge don’t you!!

Happy Gardening

What a lovely husband you have! It’s great you can get out and start thinking about planting again… will hopefully be doing the same here soon, not that I’m much of a gardener or have much of a garden really but still is nice to potter outside! Enjoy the weekend, hope it is a sunny one xxx

Well done, Mr. B for cleaning up the greenhouse.
