Hello everyone and hello September, how on earth did that happen!!!

Thankfully the good weather continues and according to the Green Rabbit calendar we are now in the last month of summer (it isn’t over yet)!!

The garden is still looking good with lots of flowers, tomatoes, courgettes and the odd strawberry.

There are still lots of butterfly visitors and still lots of shouting at cats from me, to ‘leave them alone’!

I have no sunflowers in bloom yet but I will have soon, I don’t mind them being late, I like them in September, they look so lovely in the light at this time of year.

Still lots of warm juicy tomatoes, I’m going to miss them when they’re gone!

Not so much bunny making this week! I have legs for one and ……………….

……….a head and body for another! Hopefully I’ll get them finished next week.

This is the reason for very little bunny making this week, I have been busy sorting and tidying and trying to find a place for all my craft supplies, I didn’t realise how much ‘stuff’ I possesed!!

My new craft room is beginning to take shape, however the above photo is very deceptive, what you can’t see is the amount of stuff still on the floor!!

The first week in September also brings my birthday with it and tomorrow I’ll be another year older. In my head I’m still 18 so I’m listening to my head and forgetting about the birth certificate!! 😉

Thanks as always for taking the time to pop in and visit me, I love it when you do!

Happy weekend! 🙂

Happy birthday for tomorrow – growing older is inevitable but growing up is optional you be 18 if you wish. I’ve been 25 for longer than i can remember!! Lovely photos of your garden and I was amazed at how clear your craft area looks even if there is stuff on the floor!

Hello dear Vivienne,

Happy Birthday tomorrow! I can’t believe it’s September already, either, and the weather continues to be very summery (no complaints!)…your sunflowers are gorgeous!

And wow, new craft room is taking shape… And isn’t it a real shock to gather all the supplies from all over the house to one place?! But on the end you’ll have fabulous (bunny filled I see!) place for your crafts, i can’t wait to see it all done.

Have a lovely weekend, and fantastic b-day celebrations tomorrow!

Yours,
Mia

Violet’s sunflowers are at the exact same stage (they seem to have been like this for weeks) – the anticipation!
My tomatoes have been absolutely delicious this year – there’s nothing like the taste of your own toms grown in the sunshine. I’m the only person in this household who likes them, so I’ve been very spoilt. I’m still waiting for my Black Russians to ripen – I’ve not grown these before, and I’m looking forward to trying them.
Love all the bunnies in your craft room. I think we’ve all got far more craft supplies/fabric/yarn squirreled away than we dare to admit to. I wonder how big my craft room would need to be in order to house everything I’ve bought over the years!
Wishing you many happy returns of the day, Vivienne. I hope it’s full of sunshine and fun.

Hi Vivienne, I’ve done it again, forgotten, so I’d like to wish you belated birthday wishes and trust that you had a lovely time with lovely pressies 🙂 x It still looks summery in Green Rabbit land but I think I’m experiencing autumn this week, a nip in the air 🙁 I love your bunny cabinet in the craft room, it’s amazing how much stuff we craft folk gather isn’t it!!! Have fun sorting it out x

I hope you had a lovely Brithday, I’m sorry to be so late with my wishes! It’s a very popular month for b-days as it’s my brother’s, sister’s and sister-in-laws as well. Happy 18th 😉 Bx
