Home countryside july days

At this time of the year my husband always takes some time off work, it’s a stay at home holiday with lots of days out and about.

On Saturday past we had a lovely picnic in a country lane among honeysuckle and wild roses and then visited the lovely Antrim Castle Gardens, a favourite of ours, which we enjoyed in a mixture of sunshine and showers.

We have another nine days stretching out in front of us with lots of little outings planned, fingers crossed for lots of sunshine! 🙂

Staycations are often the best aren’t they – none of the hassles of a distant holiday and yet when you have places like this to visit all of the fun and joy of lovely places to go. Here’s to the rest of your stay at home holiday.

Such stunning photos. I’m always amazed how very similar the phase of our vegetation is although our climates are a bit different. The raindrops are beautiful and everything is so lush. Finally we are having rain today, everything was drying out. But I will keep fingers crossed for lots of sun for all of us! Congrats to your sweet anniversary couple, praying for lots of happiness for them always! xo K.
