November started off with lovely bright blue skies.
It does seems to be disappearing just as speedily as all the other months of this year though.
There were days when the garden looked like it was the middle of summer.
There have been a few frosts though and as a result most flowers have definitely finished for this year….however there are, unbelievably, still some roses.
I’m still knitting for the little person in my life, frosty days required little mittens……
……another little hat!
And some recent happy mail brought yarn for a mini Christmas jumper which is a queue behind a cardie to match the above hat and a Christmas pudding hat!!
I also have finished up some festive animals.
This is Fallow my first ever fawn, who is happily wearing a faux fur collar to keep her warm.
This little arctic fox with a flurry of snowflakes has of course been named Flurry.
Marzipan is sweet toothed, sugar loving Christmas mouse.
And the final girl with all her sparkly stars is Twinkle.
All these girls will be listed in my Etsy shop on Wednesday 16th November at 9pm (GMT), more info about them can be found here.
My Hb and I have a little trip coming up, somewhere we have never been before….Rome, so we’re looking forward to that.
Thanks as always for visiting and for taking the time to leave your lovely comments, I do appreciate it, ‘see’ you soon! 🙂

Beautiful festive animals….can’t decide whether I like fallow or twinkle best. Those mittens are so cute.
How wonderful it must feel be to be a Grandma. I am so looking forward to that some day. The new girls are as cute as always, but I am partial to Marzipan wearing the darling sweater with candy striped beads knitted in. So clever.
I love that bright garden picture…such pretty colours, it does still look like summer! All your new animals are very sweet, and I do like the new little deer. And those adorable little mittens….so pretty! It is always so lovely to see your grandchildren wearing something you knitted for them, especially little hats and mitts to keep them cosy 🙂 Wishing you and your husband a wonderful trip to Rome!
