Lavender Roses

by greenrabbitdesigns

Hi everyone, just popping in to wish you all a lovely weekend, it seems it’s going to be a mild one here in the UK.

I also want to share what I have been crocheting this week, a variety of crocheted roses in a lovely lavender shade of yarn.

I have made a group of three little roses, a big rose and a rolled rose with a little leaf.

I also added a beaded organza centre to one and made a tiny beaded butterfly too!

We also have a birthday here today, my daughter is 24 today!! So happy birthday Lyndsey!!! xxx
We’re off for a family meal tonight and we’re off to look at some wedding dresses this afternoon too!

Have a wonderful weekend, hope it’s sunny and springlike for everyone! 🙂

Hi Vivienne, that’s a really unusual idea to put organza in the flowers and it works really nicely, I find it difficult to work with but you’ve tamed it! Love the butterfly too. I think you could crochet a whole window box or flower bed with all your floral creations, now that would be a colourful sight.
Have a lovely family meal out and a good weekend. Sally x

Those are beautiful corsages, but I have a soft spot for the pretty little butterfly.

You sound as though you have a fantastic weekend planned..enjoy.

Vivienne, your work is absolutely beautiful. I am an amateur but work like this inspires me so much, I have had a quick look in your shop and will definately be passing by later when I have more time to browse. My dream is that one day I will have the time to devote to producing work that will be saleable – thank you for sharing your work xx Early days for me yet though, still working full time but have plans for going part-time with the view to having more time to devote to my hobbies! Looking forward so much to reading your posts.
