I love how the garden evolves throughout spring, the daffodils are almost over now and sad as it was to see them go, it is time for the tulips to take centre stage and boy do they do it in style!

I just love the centre of this tulip!

It is of course forget-me-not time, how on earth could we forget these little beauties?

The violas are one of the plants that just keep going from late winter right through spring, they seem to have got their second wind at the moment.

This a new acquisition, I just couldn’t resist it, the florets are about 9 cm across, it is very beautiful.

Meet Honesty, she is my very first lop bunny and she has lots of pretty little white flowers on her dress and cardie just like the gorgeous honesty in my garden.

Hello dear Vivienne,

What a lovely selection of colors there already are in your garden! Such beautiful flowers, it looks like summer to me! We have some green here and there (and snow has disappeared!) but not that many flowers yet. And Honesty – she is the sweetest little bunny-girl, I simply love those ears!

Wishing you many sunny May-days!

Yours,
Mia

Hi V, it really is interesting how ahead your plants are to my part of the country, our Daffs are just at their peek now but that does seem later than I remember. The cherry blossom has just gone over here, mainly due to the wet windy bank hol weekend 🙁 I think this has generally become my favourite time of the plant & weather year. I love Honesty, I seem to remember growing it in one garden and it went a bit rampant. I do love your new style bunny, just as lovely but different 🙂 xx
