Don’t worry about me I’m not feeling low and this is not going to be a miserable post!
The blue I’m referring to is the colour I have surrounded myself with today. I’m working with blues yarns making this ……….
A bag which I started at the Debbie Abrahams’s workshop I attended on Saturday. I had a lovely time, a day filled with just knitting (and food)! The little bag is designed to brush up on Fairisle skills, along with colour knitting, knitting in the round, cabling and beading. So lots of balls in the air (metaphorical and yarn) at the one time. I really love Fairisle knitting and that’s what I really wanted to practice, making sure I got my weaving in on the back correct and I hope I did!!!
Maybe I could practice a bit more and make some bunny sweaters, nothing too large.

Treasury tool supported by the dog house
Inspired by my blue yarn and Jane’s lovely Etsy treasury from yesterday I decided to curate an Etsy Treasury (something I haven’t done in a while) called Monday Blues.
There are lots of my favourite creations, shops and people in this treasury! Just click on any of the little photos and it will take you directly to that shop.
So lots of blue today the only thing missing, sadly, is a blue sky, after a lovely day yesterday we’re back to grey, wet and dismal again.
Wishing you all a lovely week, with perhaps a blue sky along the way! 🙂

Lovely post really Singing the blues! I wish I could knit like that but sadly I lack the patience I fear. Love the Etsy things too.
I love your treasury! Thanks so much for including me in it. I’ve always admired Fairisle knitting – while i’m nowhere near ready to give it a try myself- I’m so happy to be able to admire yours ♥
Today’s grey weather is shocking so it is a pleasant surprise to see the blues! Thanks for featuring my baby boy card. More poor old etsy shop has been sadly neglected! You are a very talented knitter Vivienne and it would be wonderful to see your bunnies in fairisle sweaters! x
Love your Blues Vivienne! I think those are beads I see too. The blues look lovely together also. Here’s hoping for some sunny blues soon.

Happy to hear you are feeling ok Vivienne! Your yarn and the little bag you made at the course look beautiful.
Have a lovely new week!

Oooh Vivienne, that knitting looks so complicated it scares the life out of me. Looks great and I love the shades of blue. Have a good week x
Love the look of your fairisle knitting – something I’ve not done for years! That is a rather tempting treasury too!
Your Fairisle knitting (& beadwork) look beautiful, Vivienne. Fairisle design seems to be very popular at the moment, I’ve seen it all over in magazines and the shops. I love to knit Fairisle – you can create some beautiful patterns and colour schemes.
I’m loving the Blue Treasury that you’ve put together. You’ve found some beautiful makes, and talented crafters. That Traveller Mouse is just too cute.
Wishing you a very happy Tuesday.

Lovey blues, Vivienne!
Thank you so much for having my pouch in that gorgeous treasury, I really am in a great company there! And your knitting…I am hopeless with fairisle, I keep getting all to too tight on back and not pretty on front and all…Yours seem just prefect!
Happy week, dear friend, and blue, blue skies!
Yours,
Mia
You and I share a very similar taste in colours Vivienne and these beautiful blues are some of my favourite shades too. Lovely fairisle work, that little bag will be a beauty x
It’s a lovely bag Vivienne, what a special way to use bits of left-over yarn 😀
The plate of yarn is so perfect! I love blues too, and am honored to be in your treasury! Your workshop sounds wonderful. xo K.
Such a pretty post, Vivienne, and SO lovely to catch a glimpse of blues again 🙂 I have just had a perusal through your Etsy treasury and, my goodness, Felted Dreams makes the most exquisite mice. Swoon.
I can never get the hang of which way to twist the yarns in Fair Isle knitting, but yours looks so neat an professional.
Hope you’re having a good week. x
The blues are lovely – so peaceful and calming. The knitting looks lovely! Maggie.

I used not to care much for blue or purple but now I find I really love those colours.
Your treasury is full of good things.
