My Autumn Colours Park

by greenrabbitdesigns

It has a been while since we had a little walk in ‘my park’! I took my camera with me yesterday when I went on my Sunday afternoon walk so that I could share with you how beautiful it is at this time of year. We had yet another sunny day, I can’t believe how fortunate we have been with the weather this October.

You can compare the above photo with this one, just to see the change!

There was lots of autumn colour about and Sunday was a good day to visit as the park staff wouldn’t have been sweeping up the leaves over the weekend so there were plenty to kick about and walk through.

Always lots of wildlife no matter what time of the year it is!

It wasn’t all gold, russet and brown though, there was still lots of greenery and plenty of berries for the birds to feast on over the coming months.

I do love the colours of autumn, they are my favourite colours of all.

I don’t think I would ever tire of this place and I feel so lucky that it’s only a ten minute walk from my front door.

The sky was beautiful yesterday too, blue with white whispy clouds. Autumn has definitely won me over this year!!

I do hope you enjoyed your autumn walk in my park!

It was still dry and mild today although no sun to speak off, I managed a day in the garden (always good), apparently though it’s going to get quite cold by the end of the week.

Have a great week, whatever you get up to! 🙂

Beautiful autumn colours Vivienne, the sky was blue here this weekend too and the leaves on the trees were unbelievable. I just love this time of year!
Have a lovely week.

How wonderful to have this beautiful park so close!
I love the first photo, the trees are so tall and dramatic, and such wonderful coloured leaves – the lone figure walking amongst the fallen leaves with the towering trees above gives an idea of the scale of things.
Wonderful autumn photos, thankyou for sharing Vivienne!

Vivienne such lovely pictures. I do love a walk in the park and kicking up leaves along the way, reminds me of childhood and the smell is there too in my memory. The swans are so regal and stunning against the pond. Such graceful birds, they make everything look so peaceful! Thanks for sharing “your park”, it’s a treasure.

Yes, yes! I agree with Christina above; that first picture is glorious and is beautiful enough to be an opera backdrop!

I also agree that there is still plenty of green around.

Have a lovely day, Vivienne 🙂

It is lovely to live near a park! My favorite is walking through the leaves and hearing the crunch as you go – but Autumn has always been my favorite.

Your park is wonderful Vivienne, and just look at the height of those trees! I feel like kicking leaves up in the air today! Pity we don’t share your blue skies here at the moment. It is grey, grey, grey! I have also heard that by the end of the week it is going to turn really cold. I had better make the most of the milder weather whilst it lasts. x

Thanks Vivienne for taking us along on your walk!! I love autumn, too. Are there always that many swans in the pond?

Happy Tuesday and week…..

Beautiful photos Vivienne and I think you have been getting all the sunshine. It’s been so dreary here for the last few days. The trees do look lovely this year, lots of reds and golds around. Watch out for the cold snap though those leaves will all be coming down in a hurry. Happy Tuesday my friend,

What a beautiful park you have in your neighbourhood. It looks huge with the lake and all those trees. The colours look very pretty!

I love the autumn colours too Vivienne, it’s great to see the park as there’s nowhere as lovely or convenient as that near to me. The huge trees are so dramatic on the first photo, puts it all into perspective with the lonesome figure. Keep warm this weekend, the Arctic air is coming our way! x

Lovely images, Vivienne, your park is so beautiful! I wish it’ll be sunny this weekend, so you can enjoy your walks! And I loved the “meet the girls” page I just spotted in your blog, all your pretty bunnies in same place, brilliant idea!!!

Happy weekend soon!

Stunning photos there, I wish I could go into the park close to me but they have this outbreak of e coli in there and all sorts of precautions are in place!

Hello again Vivienne
You definately had better weather than us last week. I am looking forward to my last visit of the year to Northern Ireland – next week. Hope we have some nice days. Love your photographs of the park, and the recent ones of the bunnies and the brooches.
