My Summer Park

by greenrabbitdesigns

Time for another walk in ‘my park’. As today was as close as we have got to a summer’s day in a while, I thought today would be a good day to do it. There were still quite a few clouds about but they were raining on someone else and selfishly that was ok with me!! The air was so lovely and warm today and it was beautiful in the park!

The above photo is taken in an area that they let go wild. It just gets left alone and it’s wonderful what comes up, so very pretty.

The wildlife were enjoying the pleasant weather too. How cute is this little cygnet hitching a ride on it’s mother’s back!

The squirrels are very funny. 🙂

There are always blooms of some sort.

This was a first, American football, I have never seen this in the park before!

Through the trees the children were enjoying the play area in the good weather!

There you go folks, another walk in ‘my park’, hope you enjoyed it! 🙂

Lovely pics… I used to love watching the squirrels in the park when we lived in Chester. They used to be so tame, would come and put their little front feet on your shoes sometimes! Cute cygnet too, that would be my preferred way of travelling as well! Have a great week xxx

Your pictures are beautiful and made me feel quite homesick!

Strange to see the American football instead of a cricket match.

Isn’t it uplifting to finally get some weather that resembles Summer. It’s baking here, only I hear it’ll be pouring down by tea time! Roll on the British Summer ..

Hi Vivienne, That first squirrel looks possessed, don’t look into his eyes!! I enjoy watching squirrels even though we only have greys here. You certainly see some things in your park, how bizarre with the American football, I hope that’s not a sign of the times and it’s travelling across here as I’m not sure I like it / understand it, seems to stop and start too much. I love that almost symmetrical lake photo, it’s very dramatic, looks like one of those views which will be very different seasonally and with different skies. Fascinating. x

I loved seeing your park in summer, Vivienne. Lovely pictures – my favourite was the wonderful ornate fountain and the long avenue of trees – I do love these grand old parks with such lovely features from the past. Have a happy week.

Good day to you Vivienne :0)
I always love taking a stroll around your pretty park with you. I love the photo you’ve taken of the tree by the water’s edge. It’s so restful looking.
The squirrels in our garden have been very cheeky again today – I caught them both munching on my strawberries again this morning. My other half saw a fox scooting across the garden on Saturday evening – it’s amazing what wildlife we have literally in our back yard :0)
Wishing you a day of sunshine. xx

Hi Vivienne, Loved my walk in the Park. Love the swan, they are always so pretty and graceful. So fortunate to live so close to such beauty, no excuses for a healthy and fun walk. Thanks for sharing “YOUR” park. The long tree lines road is just so inviting! xoRobin❤

It’s lovely to see another season in your park Vivienne. The snow seems a life time away does’nt it! I loved the dear little cygnet hitching a ride on Mum’s back, sweet photo. Yesterday was the hottest day of the year here and my goodness it certainly was scorching. It seems as though thunderstorms are now threatening but phew its SO hot!
Happy Monday,

A beautiful place to walk – it has been baking here – rather too hot to walk, in fact!

What a cool and refreshing walk with you in the park. It’s unbearably hot and humid here in the central US right now – but your trees and pond look just lovely.

Oh my gosh that little hitchhiker is just the cutest little thing ever! But my favorite picture is the field of daisies. I used to make fairy crowns with my girls … sweet memories!

Your park is so beautiful, Viv! These summer-pictures are my absolutely favorites, fantastic swan, flowers and all. I know that in a few months it’ll look different again, but let’s just enjoy it now! Your park has become our park!

Happy week and sunshine from Finland!

Yours,
Mia
