November Tree

by greenrabbitdesigns

Here we are at the first of another month and my penultimate tree photo. It’s hard to believe we are nearly at the end of this little experiment.
November has started bright and sunny, let’s hope it stays that way (not holding my breath)!

The leaves are almost all gone now, thanks to the wild and wet October we have had.

We have had brilliant skies today in this little corner of the UK. I have spent most of the day tidying up the garden, it’s all very bare looking now, I do miss my flowers!!

This is what is left of my sweet pea, sad isn’t it!? I had so many bunches of pretty blooms from it this year.

However all is not lost, I still have these little beauties to see me through the dark days!

Only 7 weeks until the shortest day, so we’ll hold on to that positive thought!

Happy Tuesday everyone and have a great November. 🙂

Will you do a 12 photo mosaic at then end of your tree experiment? I think it’d be interesting to see all the photographs in one place.
I need some cyclamens in my flower pots I think. What was left of the Summer flowers are dead from the battering they got in October and the cat digging them up!

I can’t believe your tree is almost bare! We still have leaves on the trees around here but I guess that they will soon disappear once the wet and windy weather moves in! The cyclamens and winter pansies are a lovely splash of colour to see you through the next few months. Before we know it, it will be spring time again!!! x

I always enjoy your tree posts Vivienne. It’s interesting to compare what’s happening with your tree to the trees hereabouts, most of which still have their leaves. I hope the November weather stays nice for you 😀

I loved seeing the blue sky behind the branches of your tree today. It must be one of the first times that it wasn’t raining on your tree on the first of the month?? It also makes you realise how fast the year has gone. How bright and colourful your pansies and cyclamen look, nice and cheerful as the darker days arrive. Happy November, Vivienne!

Your poor tree is so bare Vivienne, the autumn colour here has been wonderful as we have escaped your wind and rain. If you had a teleporter you could “pop” over and take a peep here!! I love cyclamen, they and the pansies give some very welcome colour. Your window box looks beautiful. Where on earth has this year gone..it’s hard to believe you started your tree posts all that time ago?
Happy 1st November my friend,

Our trees are still in pretty full leaf – but we have had some grey days. Don’t remind me of the shortest day – I do hate the dark evenings!

Hi Vivienne,
November, it is so hard to believe. I’m not sure how I’m going to make it through this winter and darkness. Love your indoor flowers. Happy November to you, xoRobin❤

Hi Vivienne, once November arrives it seems the change in gardens is rapid, all bare and baron but at least your tubs look pretty still. I like Victoria’s idea of seeing your 12 pics with this years trees in a mosaic.
Enjoy that bright blue sky whilst it lasts!! x

What a wonderful way of capturing the seasons, I think a tree mosaic next month would be lovely….I do like the colour in your new plants though….

Your tree may have lost it’s leaves Vivienne but it does look beautifully majestic photographed against the blue sky….and the little pansies and cyclamen look so pretty…
