some brightness

I must say first off, that these little crocuses were not photographed today, all that beautiful sunshine was yesterday, today I’m afraid we are back to the rain in these parts, all day, continuously!!!!

This is what the little garden flowers look like today…………

Poor little soaked primula, still bright though!!

I thought as the day was a bit grey I’d take my camera and search out a bit of colour both inside and outside to brighten the day.

Gardening is not completely at a standstill, the greenhouse is very warm when the sun does shine, yesterday it was 20 degrees in there in the sunshine. I have my tomato seeds planted, just the usual Gardener’s Delight and Moneymaker but they always work well for me. I’m so looking forward to picking warm tomatoes.

And finally, even one little bunny is getting a bright cardie this week!!

Have a brilliant and fingers crossed, a bright new week! 🙂

Lovely photos…..they’ve cheered me up a bit. I’m wondering what the theme for this latest bunny will be!

Ooooh sunshine and colour! Lovely! We saw a bit of sunshine too yesterday, and very welcome it was – we had a lovely walk in the woods and it felt good to see blue sky and feel the warmth of the sun. Your crocuses certainly look happy turning their faces to the sun, let’s hope we see a lot more of it soon! Such a sweet green cardi – one little bunny will be a lucky little bunny x

So disappointing after yesterday isn’t it? However as they say Every little helps and your bright photos add to yesterdays sunny memories to remind us that Spring will come eventually. Love that little cardi – I’d like one like that do you do big ones?!!

So much lovely colour in your garden Vivienne! Glad you had some sunshine yesterday, obviously enough for you to have sown your tomato seeds already!
Darling little green cardi, so tiny!

Snap indeed Vivienne..;0) we do love our spring bulbs don’t we. My Dad is about to sew my tomato seeds, Gardener’s delight is my favourite too. Such a lovely garden inspired bunny cardie too. Enjoy the garden when you can, the sun is really warming up. Happy new week my dear x

Can you hear my happy sigh from across the sea, Vivienne? Your flower pictures are very heartening. Yesterday Angélique and I played ball at noon; the sunshine was that warm! Snowdrops everywhere. This is perhaps my favourite time of year and your bunny green cardigan is possibly my favourite green too.

Oh thank you for the lovely colour this morning, you are a star, it’s grey again outside and your pics really cheered me up. Tomatoe seeds planted already, wow!

These certainly do make a grey day bright! And I can see your bunnies this time! For some reason the images wouldn’t show. Me and technology!! Have a good week. 🙂

Lovely cheerful flowers to brighten the gloom. Like you, I’ve been pottering in the greenhouse on the odd occasion the sun has shone. Just need a bit more of it now! xx

Gorgeous fresh spring flower pictures, Vivienne! They are so cheerful aren’t they when they pop up against the dark earth. And I do love that little spring green cardi you have knitted….such a pretty shade!
Happy weekend.

Lovely hopeful photos Vivienne. I don’t have any flowers in my garden at the moment and can’t wait until the garden centres get their spring stock in. Great that you have sown tomato seeds already – a reminder that I must start mine off soon. I adore the cardigan – your rabbits knitwear is an artwork itself before it is put onto a bunny body! x
