Home flowers spring inside & out

spring inside & out

by greenrabbitdesigns

Is there anything that says spring like a golden daffodil and I’m very lucky to have a bunch of them in the house this weekend!

Not just daffodils though, I’ve also got some gorgeous red tulips too!

Outside in the garden there are signs of spring too with my lovely yellow wallflowers in bloom.

I have to admit though it wasn’t very springlike here this morning as it was wild, windy and wet but the afternoon has picked up nicely with even the glimpse of a blue sky.

January has gone by in a flash, hasn’t it, one month of pre-spring down and one more to go until ‘real’ spring!

Thank you for all your lovely comments on the ‘Valentine Girls’, they were listed in my Etsy shop on Wednesday evening and sold out in three minutes. Unfortunately listing them altogether at a certain time means that some of the bunnies ended up in more than one cart at the same time and it was the person who pushed the PayPal button first that got the rabbit, leaving some very disappointed people wondering where the rabbit in their cart has disappeared to. I think that maybe next time I will list them over a period of 24 hours to see if that helps.

I have started on a new set of bunnies for February, no theme this month just a few ideas that need to come out my head!!

I’ll leave with a photo of the sky above my house taken just a few minutes ago!

Thanks as always for dropping in to see me, wishing you all a lovely pre-springy weekend.

Happy weekend! 🙂

Your rabbits are very popular impossible to keep up with demand! Thank goodness January is nearly over …the wettest in a hundred years, seemingly.

Lovely can almost smell the fresh spring perfume of those daffodils and also the wallf lowers. Have a good weekend whatever the weather.

Ahh daffs, my favourites Vivienne, a bunch is certain to cheer when the weather is like this. Glad you got a rainbow, we are just having more torrential rain. Enjoy the weekend my dear and I’m not surprised those bunnies flew out of your shop..they were gorgeous. Enjoy the weekend my dear xx

Congratulations on a bunny sell out Vivienne! I didn’t even try for one as I am lucky enough to have one already. I even stopped watching Celebrity Big Brother before the end so I could watch them hop from your shop!!! The daffs give a lovely cheering glow don’t they? It is bucketing down outside now and I have stayed in all day. Let’s hope that February is an improvement weatherwise although you have had a lovely rainbow! x

Such a cheerful bunch of daffodils! Lovely to see you already have some colour in the garden. I hope I will be able to pop over to my allotment garden this week too.

Happy weekend!

a lovely little bit of sunshine in your photos Vivienne. We have our first snowdrops in bloom and just one hardy little yellow aconite peeking out of the borders.

I think I’ll welcome February with a bright bunch of flowers, too! Very happy photos…and three minutes? Geez! I think it takes longer to make a cup of tea…Chrissie x

Your lovely flowers look like Spring to me Vivienne. A rainbow is always a delight. Good that January is over, my favourite month here is March. Enjoy the weekend. Blessings to you and your family. Elizabeth x x.

Love to see the daffodils as we never get those here and they are one of my favourite flowers.
Wow to a three minute sell out on the bunnies but hardly surprising as they are so special.

Well done on selling the bunnies so quickly although I’m not surprised. I’ve yet to treat myself to some daffodils this year.

Such a lovely post to brighten up this dark morning Vivienne….spring will soon be here though won’t it as January as flown by as always!
I’m not surprised your Valentine girls were snapped up immediately as they are so special and made with so much love!
Happy New Week!

Lovely, springly post, Vivienne,

Those flowers are so beautiful, and somewhat reminded me of Easter, which this year (again) is very late…almost in May! But as long as all the signs of spring are on the air, I think we can wait!

And about the bunnies: no wonder they all went so quickly (and many times over), they are all adorable!

Happy day, dear friend!

That’s the biggest splash of yellow I’ve seen so far this year, lovely flowers Vivienne.
What a dilemma with the bunny listing. I was buying some discontinued fabric the other day and had it in my basket but by the time I’d finished shopping and the slow internet line to Paypal, the fabric had disappeared to someone else. I was so disappointed so I know how it can be. I can’t think of a better way than to stagger the listings and then of course that creates a mad scrum for one bunny, tricky when they are so popular 🙂 x
