summer, autumn, winter

by greenrabbitdesigns

Summer is still hanging on in my garden, bless it.

You can see by the poor drenched sweet pea though that we had quite heavy rain last night!

The cosmos continues to bloom and it looked beautiful in the morning sunshine.

I just hope these little cosmos buds get to open before the first frosts!

There are still nasturtiums………………

……………..and fuschias!

However there are many signs of autumn, most of the leaves are now off the trees.

There are lots of berries!

And most of the Black-Eyed Susan’s are now just black eyes!

Summer bedding is making way for autumn flowering plants!

Inside, the dresser in my craft room has a little autumnal display but…..

……on my desk, I’m preparing for some winter crafting!!!

Work has begun on the Christmas bunnies!

Thanks as always for visiting, I really do appreciate it, thanks also for all the bunny love in my last past!

Have a lovely week and a great November. 🙂

Oh Vivienne, you really have spanned three seasons in one post, haven’t you? It’s all so pretty and inspiring. Those rain-drenched sweetpeas really caught my eye. I cannot deny I’m getting pretty excited about Christmas creating! Although you are certainly much more organised than I am! 🙂

What lovely photos Vivienne, after all the rain yesterday today was glorious here too. The only downside was how dark it was by 5pm. How exciting to see your Christmas bunnies in the making…my favourites. I can’t wait to see your creations. Enjoy the rest of the week my friend xx

Hi Vivienne, such a treat to see the summer flowers again! BUT Autumn is in the air and the leaves are almost gone! Exciting to see the makings of some “C” bunnies. Love your dresser goodies in your craft room. So many lovely treasures, especially your bunny!
Enjoy the rest of the week, xoRobin

Sweet Pea with rain drops is beautiful Vivienne. Is the bunny in your craft cupboard the one you made for yourself ? The bear looks well loved I bet it could tell a good story. Love & Blessings Elizabeth x x

So good to see summer hanging on in your garden Vivienne. My garden is looking very autumnal and needs raking yet again – I’m not very good with garden maintenance, I prefer knitting in the warm now that the days have got a bit cooler! I love your autumn display – very pretty and cosy. Have fun with your Christmassy makes, looking forward to seeing them xxx

Lovely photographs Viv 🙂 That bud is amazing! Also love the little peep into your craft room, although floating bunny heads may be a little disturbing… 😉

Hello dear Vivienne,

This post has helped me to understand MORE how the GRD-calendar works: no wonder the winter-ish season is so short, your garden is in full bloom still, sort of July-look here! We have snow again *sigh* but rain “promised” for tomorrow to wash it away.

What a wonderful display – and those preparations for the C-bunnies…Very exciting! I can’t wait to see the new girls!

Happy weekend, dear friend!

Your garden is looking amazing given the time of year.

I’m hoping those poor heads have bodies attached!

It was lovely whilst it lasted, wasn’t it? We’ve finally broken into the scarves for school this week as I’ve had to scrape the car window on a couple of mornings. Hope all your Christmas plans are going well. Bxx
