sweet things

by greenrabbitdesigns

There has been a bit of a sweet theme going on with my bunny making this week.

This is Lolly, so called because her skirt is covered in all sorts of lollipops and sweeties and her cardigan in knitted in what I like to think of as, jelly bean green!

This little lady is Callie Cupcake! Cupcake because she is covered in them and the name Callie comes from Greek meaning ‘beautiful’. Who wouldn’t want a beautiful cupcake??

I have one more little girl to finish and then they will all be listed in my Etsy shop next week. The last February girl will have a sweetness about her too!

As we’re on a bit of a sugar rush today, I thought I’d share with you what’s in my cake tin this weekend ~ Toffee Yogurt Cake, you can find the recipe in this post.
Simple, quick and delicious!

Thanks for visiting this week and for all your lovely, much appreciated comments.

I definitely feel this week that spring is just a little bit closer!

Happy weekend! 🙂

Beautiful and SWEET! You mention your cake ‘tin’… Is it actually a tin? That just made me think of old bread boxes etc. Happy weekend!

What sweet girls to wake up to this morning Vivienne. Lollipop’s dress fabric is just amazing. You must have such fun dressing your bunnies they always look so perfectly coordinated with such pretty details. Jelly bean green sounds a great colour. Enjoy your cake, I’m off to work but horrah it’s Friday. Have a lovely weekend xx

Sweet little bunny girls, you must have a lot of fun thinking up each new theme then tracking down the perfect fabrics etc to make each little unique bunny!
I think Spring has arrived here this morning – even if its only one day for now I shall be grateful. Off down the greenhouse later to tidy and clean and get ready for sowing tomatoes – love this time of year!
Hope the sun shines for you today too Vivienne

They really are very lovely. I can’t wait to know what the ‘theme’ is for the bunnies after you have finished the sweets! The toffee yoghurt cake looks delicious. I could eat that right now with my coffee instead of the packet of breakfast biscuits!!! x

Your new bunnies are as sweet as sugar! (And jelly bean green is just the right description for that pretty shade of green!) You have your very own sweetie shop there, Vivienne….and I don’t think they will stay on the shelves for very long 🙂
Happy weekend!

Oh I love the lollipop fabric 🙂 I don’t know how you keep coming up with such great ideas for your girls but each and every one of them is a winner.
Looking forward to seeing the third of the sweet treat trio.
Yum to the cake. I’ve tried your recipe before and it tastes as good as it looks.

Another pair of beauties. I love the fabric of Lollie’s dress.
We’ve actually got a little bit of sunshine here today – I hope it’s here to stay. Just need the temperature to rise slightly to lift my spirits.
Wishing you a lovely week.

They are so cute! I am trying to avoid sugar and flour at the moment so that Toffee Yogurt Cake looks delicious to me!!
