Well it certainly looks like 2015 is going to go as quickly as 2014, here we are almost at the end of the first month!
Not a whole lot has happened during January really, I suppose the most important thing was my son’s birthday and it was lovely to have him home for a while to celebrate.
There has been a bit of spring cleaning, absolutely not blog worthy and certainly not something I enjoy but I do like to get it out of the way during pre-spring, before real spring arrives.
To balance the boring cleaning I have also been making my Valentine Girls which is much more fun!
The first little lady is Maitea, she is a lovely shade of purple which doesn’t really show up well in her photo. Her name is of Spanish origin and means ‘love’, very apt for the first of the Valentine Girls!
The second Valentine Girl is Roslyn, her name means ‘beautiful rose’!
The next little lady is Annabelle, her name comes from Latin and means ‘lovable’.
This little one is Amorette which of course means ‘little love’!
This is Mabel and her name also means ‘lovable’.
When I finished this little girl with all her sugary colours she reminded me so much of Love Heart sweets and that is how she got her name, Sweetie.
The seventh and final girl for this month is Libi, her names comes from Hebrew and means ‘my heart’.
So that’s all the ‘girls’ for this month, they will be listed in my Etsy shop on Wednesday 28th January at 10.00pm (GMT). You can find all the details about them here and see more photos of them here.
Thank you so much for visiting and for all your comments on my last post, wishing you all a lovely last week in January and a great start to February! 🙂

These girls are all very pretty. I’m always intrigued by your name choices, some of them are new to me and I think they are all very fitting and beautiful.
Dear Vivienne good to see your beautiful bunnies around the world. I love them all. The colours of Annabelle are a favourite. Soon be Spring time for you and I know you will enjoy. Looking forward to see the Valentine girls. Love & Blessings. Elizabeth x x
As ever your girls are beautiful. I love the range of colours and fabrics and your wonderful selection of names for them.

I have also been doing some early spring cleaning – tedious, but makes you feel VERY virtuous!
Lovely girls as always – I think Roslyn is my fave this time around, although am rather partial to little Sweetie too… <3

All your Valentine girls are beautiful, you have made some very pretty fabric and yarn combinations for them all! I love the names too, choosing names for bunnies is fun isn’t it??!
So glad you had a lovely time with your son for his birthday…always special to have them home again.
Spring will soon be here….the garden is full of green shoots and pre-spring is moving along nicely!

Truly original and adorable, V. My Fave. is Mabel. Very happy your son could be home for his birthday. Happy Wednesday and “Bunny Day”
Anne and all xxx
Ok “V” I scroll up and down and up and down to see what bunny I love the best and I want them ALL! They are truly so sweet, the colors all coordinate so nicely and the details are beautiful. If I had to pick two it would be Maitea and Amorette! Spring will be coming but not soon enough for me either! SO happy you had a wonderful time with your son : )
