Home animals What A Week

What an absolutely brilliant week, weather-wise, it has been! 🙂

The cherry blossom is in full bloom now and has been looking wonderful against the blue sky. I just can’t believe how much the trees have opened up with the good weather.

Tulips, daffodils and flowering currant are all showing off in the sunshine!

I definitely think everything seems so much better when the sun is shining, don’t you?

I hope to still have some daffs in bloom for Easter, the milder weather has brought them all out sooner than usual. Such joyful little flowers.

It’s great to be able to do a garden post with lots to show again.

All sorts of little creatures have been encouraged out into the sun.

Some bigger than others!!! 😉

Polly obviously thinks the garden furniture has been put there for her own personal use!

Sadly, having just listened to the weather forecast, this is probably the end of our lovely weather for a while. Today has been cooler than of late and I think the weekend doesn’t look good.
Such a shame, it is very easy to get used to the sunshine.

So next week may be ‘staying in to knit and crochet’ weather again!
I have a little person in the making, I’ll hopefully get her finished over the weekend and let you see her next week.

Have a lovely weekend, whatever you get up to and whatever the weather.
Don’t forget my giveaway which ends tomorrow.
See you all next week! 🙂

I just love all your photos here -so much beauty and sunshine! We were also spoiled with the most gorgeous sunny weather the past 2 weeks which abruptly ended yesterday – so dreary and windy and cold today! C’est la vie…the sun will come back someday! xo Karen

It has been the most perfect week hasn’t it Vivienne; dawn til dusk sunshine and I so agree that the world is definitely a better place when the sun shines (well actually it’s stimulating our pituitary glands (and other things) but lets not get technical-LOL) It certainly makes us feel so good! Your garden is bursting into life, such lovely photos, I bet your greenhouse has been too hot! I agree that the good weather is due to finish soon but what a bonus it has been. Have a lovely weekend my friend, outdoors or indoors.

Hi Vivienne, the weather has been most delightful hasn’t it, I seem to think we had a good week last year near to Easter. Not too hot, just perfect and bright and light, when the trees are in full leaf it somehow seems a bit darker where we are so it’s nice to still be at the bud stage and have some light shine through the canopy.
Hey your cherry blossom is early to around here, and all the currants. I like the unusual looking daff which is sort of lemon coloured with a bit more yellow fluted around its trumpet.
Odd looking ladybird but cute cat! Have a good weekend and look forward to seeing your ‘make’ revealed. Sally x

Yes we’ve been thoroughly spoilt weatherwise this week haven’t we and the prospect of cloudy, colder weather isn’t fun! It’s really brought the flowers on though and your garden is looking beautiful. I suppose the flowers will be thankful for a little rain but hopefully we’ll have some more sunshine soon. Enjoy your crochet time Vivienne x

Hi Vivienne, I hope I can post this, last week it wouldn’t let me. Love all your beautiful flowers, so many all ready in bloom. Sorry the weather will not be good, but at least you have had some good weather. Could you put me in the giveaway if this goes through. Thanks
xoRobin❤
Also every time I see a bunny, I think of YOU!

So many pretty flower pictures Vivienne … your garden must be a joy to spend time in just now. I suppose we should be hoping for rain as so many places are suffering for the lack of it, but wouldn’t it be nice if all this sunshine lasted just a few days longer.

I am officially jealous now, Vivienne, and I can proudly 😉 admit it too! All those beautiful flowers and green leaves and… *sigh* But luckily sun shines here too, and snow melts as I type!

Have a wonderful weekend, dear friend, and I can’t wait to see your newest creation soon! Kisses to the kittens!

Yours,
Mia

What a lovely display on colour in your garden, I’m not surprised Polly has taken up residence on the table where she can survey it all!
Typical, we broke up for the holidays yesterday and the weather’s changed already. Oh well, we had it good didn’t we?!
Have a happy Easter Vivienne, hope there are lots of bunnies around for you xxxx
